Guide to Kitchen and household Essential

Good Hosuekeeping is back.  The recent movement towards a once again nation of proud housekeepers has gone mainstream with magazines and TV Shows eulogising about a back-to-basics approach to housekeeping and the home.
We’ve been supplying housekeeping and kitchen essential essentials for 50 years so we know a thing or two about traditional housekeeping.

We thought it would be good to write a glossery and what each product is especially good for. Here goes;

Linen Scrim – A traditional Linen cloth which is used by traditional window cleaners. This cloth leaves no smear on surfaces such as glass or china.
White Duster – A good quality duster which can be boiled cleaned as it has not been dyed
Yellow Duster  – A slightly larger duster than the white duster.
Oven Cloth  - More durable than oven gloves an Oven Cloth is ideal for removing larger items out of an oven and for picking up hot cooking utensils.
Floor Cloth – A rugged, durable square cloth which is used for those accidental spillages.
Linen Dish Cloth – A traditional dish cloth this is perfect for cleaning glass. Linen leaves no marks or residue and is very long lasting. This could be the best dish cloth we’ve come across.
Waffle Dish Cloth – A thick, absorbent dish cloth which is available in colours to match your kitchen.
Pure Linen Tea Towel – Pure Linen leaves no smudges or residue which makes Linen Tea towels ideal. New bright and colourful designs are available from tradition linen houses such as Ulster Union.
Linen Union Glass Cloth – These linen heavy cloths are used in the best restaurants and hotels for keeping glass smear-free and sparkly.
Jolly Molly Oven Glove  - A double sided traditional oven glove which is easy to manoeuvre and is soft. This is our most popular oven glove by far.
Muslin Cloth – A butter muslin which can be used for a variety of cooking methods. This cloth is also very good as a filter for decanting red wine and port.

Our standard delivery time to mainland UK is 5-10 working days from placing the order.
However, this should be used as a guide and we aim to get orders delivered within 5 working days.

Please note: Someone must be at the delivery address when the item arrives in order to sign for it. There will be three attempts made to deliver your package and a note will be left each time with your further options.
